JEE Main 2025 Clash With CBSE Class 12 Exams: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 2, 2025 overlaps with CBSE Class 12 board examinations. The JEE Main will be held on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9. Though there is no direct clash in core science papers, some of the board examinations like language papers, home science, and psychology overlap with JEE Main dates.
JEE Main Session 2 Exam and CBSE Class 12 Schedule:
– April 2, 2025: On day one of JEE Main Session 2, CBSE has planned language paper exams for a number of subjects like Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Sindhi, Arabic, Tibetan, etc.
– April 3, 2025: CBSE Class 12 Home Science exam is scheduled from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, which coincides with JEE Main.
– April 4, 2025: CBSE will hold the Psychology exam of Class 12, which coincides with JEE Main.
No Major Conflict with Science Subjects:
– No major conflict exists with any core science subjects between JEE Main and CBSE Class 12 exams.
– Students appearing in JEE Main generally do not take language exams, Home Science, or Psychology, reducing the effect of such conflicts.
JEE Main is held for admission to IITs, NITs, and other engineering institutes. The 2025 exam will be held in two sessions January and April. During the January session, 13,11,544 students registered for Paper 1 (BE/BTech).
The CBSE Class 12 exams will end on April 4, 2025. This year, more than 17.88 lakh students are taking Class 12 exams in 120 subjects.
