Services on all lines of the Delhi Metro will begin at 4 AM on MCD Elections day
New Delhi, Dec 2: Delhi Metro train services on all lines will start from 4am from all terminal stations on election day (December 4).
“On the day of MCD polls on 4th Dec, Delhi Metro train services on all Lines will start from 4am from all terminal stations. The Trains will run with a frequency of 30 minutes on all Lines till 6am. After 6am, Metro trains will run as per normal Sunday timetable throughout the day”, said DMRC in a statement.
Election to the 250 wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is scheduled to be held from 8 am to 5:30 pm on Sunday, December 4. The counting of votes will take place on December 7.
This will be the first municipal election in the national capital after the delimitation of wards. Both the BJP and the AAP have fielded 250 candidates, while the Congress will contest only 247 seats.
