Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan and her long-time cook Dilip have been making waves on the internet with their entertaining vlogs, but on Saturday, Farah warned their fans about a fake social media account impersonating the latter. She also said that they have raised the issue with the authorities.
Farah took to her Instagram and shared a screenshot of the page, claiming to be that of Dilip. The account has more than 57,000 followers, while it follows none. “Dilip V&S Farah Khan – Cooking | Daily Vlog Updates | Follow & Subscribe,” the bio reads.
The account also posted clips of Dilip and Farah with the numerous celebs they have shot with until now.
Bringing the fake account into the public’s notice, Farah wrote, “This is a FAKE account!! N v r complaining… so u better take it down!! (sic).”
Soon after the warning, the account name was changed to ‘A1 Blogger’, and it also deleted all the posts.
Farah and Dilip were recently in news after the filmmaker took him on a vacation to Maldives for the first time. The two have been sharing entertaining videos from Maldives, much to the delight of their fans.
Recently, Farah had revealed that even megastar Amitabh Bachchan watches her vlogs with Dilip, and that he even sent her an appreciation letter, which he wrote at 3:30 am.
“Dearest Farah, there are moments when exceptional talents in various diverse mediums go beyond any appreciation. ‘Appreciation’ as a word, describing your enormous creative contribution, falls short by miles. May you continue your outspoken verbosity in the years ahead. My love, affection and regard,” the letter from Big B read.
