The covid situation in India has worsened and the speed of increasing Covid-19 cases is higher than last time. Most of the states have declared partial or total lockdown. Representatives of different political parties and Welfare organisations are trying to volunteer the patients in need in several way. Netizens are either busy blaming the government or spreading panic.

The binge watching season is back once more, but unfortunately scarcity of oxygen, plasma demand, every other person being tested positive is no longer leaving space for playing master chef or showing ludo skills. Some of the netizens are busy amplifying and that’s how virtual volunteering is taking place. Kolkata’s singing sensation who has alot a lot time amplifying through social media says ” I am an apolitical person, so I don’t think I need to paint myself with in political color to help people. I live with my parents so I can’t physically go and help people. Trust me it takes barely five minutes to verify leads. When u hear about hospital bed availability and oxygen cylinder delivery availability you just need to call and verify. Once you have verified just share those things you never know who’s is need. If we physically can’t volunteer, amplifying can really save life”.

Renowned singer and painter of international fame, Soumita Saha’s timeline on social networking sites shows amplifying posts mostly. The singer has postponed the release of her new song that was scheduled to be released in the month of April. Soumita is not only know as an EDM star but also regarded as one of the youngest exponent in the field of Rabindrasangeet.
