Arunachal police failed to find whereabouts of Dinesh Sharma after 7 days
Guwahati: After seven days, Arunachal police have failed to find the whereabouts of Dinesh Sharma, who was abducted from a fuel outlet in Momong village under Chowkham police station in Arunachal’s Namsai district.
Dinesh Sharma was abducted by suspected militant on April 26, 2023.
On the other hand, the driver of the fuel outlet owner Mithai Marandi who sustained bullet injuries during the firing by the militants who abducted Sharma and was undergoing treatment at a Dibrugarh based private hospital succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday night.
Sources said that a ransom of 5 crores has been demanded by the militant group for the release of Sharma.
Meanwhile, Security forces had intensified their search operation but there is no clue on the abducted.
The fuel outlet is owned by Zenia Namchoom, the Zila Parishad Member of Chowkham and a influential politician cum businessman.
