BJP says cutting a birthday cake in the style of a temple a “insult to Hindus.”
After a video of him cutting a birthday cake in the shape of a temple went viral and the BJP called it an insult to Hindus, Kamal Nath, the leader of the Madhya Pradesh Congress, has courted controversy.
A saffron flag and a picture of Lord Hanuman were on top of the temple-shaped cake that Kamal Nath was seen in the video cutting.
The party was held on Tuesday night at the previous chief minister’s residence in Chhindwara.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister, charged Kamal Nath with hurting feelings by cutting the cake with numerous religious symbols on it as soon as the video went viral online.”They put Hanuman ji’s picture on the cake and then cut it. This is an insult to Hindu religion and Sanatan tradition,”
“Kamal Nath and his group are false devotees with no connection to the Almighty. He is a member of the same political group that earlier opposed the building of the Ram Temple. But after realising that it was hurting their political chances, he became a Hanuman Bhakt “During a news conference, he said.
