Sagar I-T Searches, Officials Going Through Incriminating Documents To Detect Tax Evasion

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The officials of income tax department are going through the incriminating documents seized during the searches conducted on properties of ex BJP MLA from Banda, Harvansh Singh Rathore and others including Rajesh Kesharwani, Rakesh Chawda.

It is learnt that the I-T department officials have found documents suggesting Kesharwani’s involvement in money lending business and earnings he made through high interest in properties. During the searches seven luxury cars were found at the residential premises of Kesharwani family.

The officials are mulling over taking the help of the transport department to ascertain the owners of the expensive cars. Meanwhile, cash running in crores was found on the premises of Rathore and Keshwani families; the money trail is being cross checked. The tax evasion by Keshwani is likely to be in crores as the I-T sleuths have already found unaccounted transactions of crores of rupees.

Personnel Dept Asks IAS Officers To Give Their Property Details By January 31

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The personnel department of the GAD has issued an order asking the IAS officers to give details of their properties online by January 31. It is essential on the part of the IAS officers to give the details of their properties in January every year.

The Central Government has also issued a directive to the state government in this regard. The Central Government has written a letter to the Chief Secretary that disciplinary action should taken against those who fail to submit the details of their properties within the time limit, without proper reasons.
