Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh posted a congratulatory note on X for Abhishek Sharma, who dazzled with a century for the SunRisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2025 game against the Punjab Kings on Saturday. Taking to the social media platform, Yuvraj hilariously wrote how such a mature knock from Abhishek is a little unbelievable to see.

Unlike IPL 2024, Abhishek has struggled in the first few matches this year but came good on Saturday as the SunRisers were in pursuit of a behemoth target of 246. The left-handed batter blasted a 55-ball 141, laced with 14 fours and ten sixes as the Orange Army rammed down 246 with ease on the night.

At the post-game presser, Abhishek Sharma revealed that he had written the note ‘This one is for Orange Army’ which he flaunted after scoring a hundred only today as he felt a big innings was around the corner. He stated, as quoted by ESPN Cricinfo:

“I wrote it today itself because I usually wake up and write something. I got a random thought that if I do something today, that would be for Orange Army. Luckily, today I felt it was my day. I’d be lying if I say there was no pressure. There is pressure if you don’t do well in three or four innings, especially if your team’s losing.”
