Mumbai: The Western Railway has announced a major overnight block on the Vasai Road–Vaitarna stations in Mumbai, scheduled from late Friday night (April 18) to early Saturday morning (April 19). Due to the overnight block, early-morning trains may experience delays.

During this block, some suburban trains will be cancelled, and train movement in both directions (UP and DOWN lines) will be affected within the designated hours. These blocks are necessary for the ongoing work to launch four steel girders as part of the construction of a new Road Over Bridge (ROB) in the area.
Train services on this stretch will be affected during the three-day period. Passengers are advised to plan ahead and consider alternate travel options to avoid inconvenience.
