Hanuman Jayanti 2025: Sea Of Devotees Flood Ranjit Hanuman Temple, Rambhakt Hanuman Temple & Others Across City

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The city resonated with divine fervour early morning as devotees celebrated the auspicious occasion of Veer Hanuman Jayanti with grand devotion. From 5 am, long queues of worshippers were seen outside major temples, waiting eagerly to take part in the traditional Maha Aarti and seek blessings.

At 6 am, the birth celebration began with rhythmic sounds of conch shells, bells and devotional music in temples across the city. Prominent temples like Ranjit Hanuman Mandir, Rambhakt Hanuman Mandir at Subhash Chowk, Veer Alija Hanuman Mandir in Panchkuinya and Navlakha Siddh Hanuman Mandir witnessed massive gatherings. Devotees recited Hanuman Chalisa in unison before the aarti.

All temples were adorned beautifully — idols decorated with flowers and garlands, sanctum sanctorums lit with lights and floral arrangements reflecting festive glory. Ranjit Hanuman Temple was decked out in a spectacular Mathura-Vrindavan theme.

Devotees and volunteers donned traditional Brij attire, recreating a devotional atmosphere reminiscent of the sacred land of Krishna. Over the years, this temple has featured cultural themes like Rajasthani, Gujarati and South Indian decor — this time, Brij Dham was the focus.

Meanwhile, Veer Alija Hanuman Temple at Kailash Marg transformed into a royal darbar under a ‘Raj Bhavan’ theme. Red carpet walkways, imported floral decorations crafted by Kolkata artists and coordinated dress codes among devotees added grandeur. Fifteen chandeliers enhanced the regal setup, leaving visitors in awe.

According to Hindu belief, Hanuman is the 11th Rudra avatar of Lord Shiva. Born on Chaitra Purnima, his birth is considered especially sacred. Hanuman Jayanti is also linked with acts of charity, remembrance of ancestors and spiritual cleansing, making it a deeply meaningful day for millions.
