Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), an armed militant group operating along the Afghan–Pakistani border, has launched a massive suicide attack on the Jandola military base in Tank District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to reports. Heavy clashes are currently ongoing, with reports of intense fighting inside the base.

The attack commenced with a powerful vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) detonation, causing extensive damage throughout the military facility. After the explosion, TTP militants infiltrated the base, resulting in violent confrontations with Pakistani military personnel.
Initial reports indicate that dozens of Pakistani soldiers have been killed, while TTP fighters remain inside the camp, continuing their assault.
