The Aasu members carrying placards and banners took out a protest rally upto the deputy commissioner’s office.
They continued their protest at the site raising slogans against Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and state power minister Nandita Gorlosa. The protesters later submitted a memorandum to deputy commissioner Biswajit Pegu addressed to the chief minister seeking rollback of the decision.
