Ahmedabad Plane Crash , Fire Brigade from Vadodara immediately rushed to Ahmedabad

Vadodara: Following the crash of a Boeing plane in Meghani Nagar IGP Compound, assistance from Vadodara, including fire brigade, police, and firefighting equipment, was immediately dispatched to Ahmedabad.

A tragic incident occurred today in Ahmedabad’s Meghani Nagar IGP Compound, where Air India Flight 171 (a Boeing plane) crashed. The plane crashed shortly after takeoff, injuring many people. Immediately after the incident, fire brigade and police teams reached the site and began rescue operations.

Due to the need for assistance and relief operations in this accident, 25 fire tenders (firefighting equipment) from the Vadodara Fire Brigade, along with approximately 200 firefighters and officers, were promptly sent to Ahmedabad under the state government’s directives. Alongside this assistance, efforts to clear the route have also been undertaken to ensure immediate medical treatment for the injured.

Vadodara Municipal Corporation Commissioner Arun Mahesh Babu stated that all necessary aid and equipment from Vadodara are being swiftly delivered to Ahmedabad. The assistance provided by Vadodara’s fire brigade during this accident is considered highly significant.
